Privacy Policy

The short version

Our calculators run entirely in your browser. We never see your inputs unless you explicitly save a scenario (a feature that is not yet enabled at launch). To understand which pages are useful we use two analytics tools: Vercel Analytics (cookie-less) and Google Analytics 4, which sets a first-party analytics cookie. We don’t use advertising networks, we don’t run cross-site tracking pixels, and we never sell or share your data.

What we collect

We collect a minimal amount of aggregate, non-identifying analytics via Vercel Analytics (our hosting platform). This includes:

• The page you visited (URL path).
• The country your request came from (derived from your IP, not stored).
• The referrer (the previous page, if any).
• Browser and device family (e.g., “Chrome on iPhone”).
• A hashed identifier that lets us distinguish unique visitors within a 24-hour window without storing your IP address.

We also use Google Analytics 4 for the same purpose — understanding which pages and calculators people find useful. GA4 sets a first-party cookie (named _ga) to tell repeat visits apart, and collects the same kind of aggregate data (pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser, referrer). We have IP anonymization enabled. We do not use GA4’s advertising features, and we don’t link this data to any identity.

This data is aggregated, retained for a limited period, and not used to build an advertising profile of you.

What we don’t collect

• No calculator inputs. The numbers you type into a calculator stay in your browser. We don’t send them anywhere.
• No accounts, no passwords. There is nothing to sign up for.
• No advertising or cross-site tracking. No ad networks, no third-party advertising cookies, no fingerprinting. The only cookie we set is the first-party Google Analytics _ga measurement cookie described above.
• No email unless you write to us. The only way we end up with your email is if you send us one at hello@anydividendcalculator.com.

Cookies & consent

We keep cookies to a minimum. The only cookie-setting tool is Google Analytics 4 (the first-party _ga cookie), and it is off by default: on your first visit a banner asks whether to allow it. We do not load Google Analytics or set the _ga cookie unless you choose “Accept.” If you “Decline,” no analytics cookie is ever set and the site works fully.

Aside from that, we store a couple of strictly-functional local-storage entries — your cookie choice itself, and preferences such as a shared calculator scenario. Vercel Analytics is cookieless and used for aggregate, non-identifying measurement regardless of your choice. We set no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

To change your mind later, clear this site’s cookies and local storage in your browser and the consent banner will appear again. You can also install Google’s official Analytics opt-out add-on.

Third parties

The site is hosted on Vercel, which acts as our infrastructure provider. Vercel processes the network traffic required to deliver the site to you and provides the cookie-less Vercel Analytics described above. Their privacy policy is available at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.

We use Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google) for aggregate usage statistics, as described above. Google’s privacy policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.

Email sent to hello@anydividendcalculator.com is routed via Cloudflare Email Routing to a private inbox. Cloudflare’s privacy policy is at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

If we add affiliate links in the future, the destination brokerage will set its own cookies on the page you land on after clicking the link. Those cookies are governed by that brokerage’s privacy policy, not ours.

Your rights (GDPR, CCPA, and elsewhere)

Because we don’t collect personal data, there is generally nothing to access, delete, or export. If you have emailed us and want us to delete your message and our reply, write to hello@anydividendcalculator.com from the same address. We will confirm deletion within 30 days.

Children’s privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information (for example, by emailing us), please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page if our practices change. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be summarized at the top of this page for at least 30 days after the change.
